Mary's Story
On my 5th birthday, I decided to be an artist when I grew up. After living in Oregon all my life, I escaped to art school in Seattle. I also met my husband of ten years, Heath, a web developer. We married in 1998, the same year I graduated from art school. We moved to San Francisco a year later, where I worked as a graphic designer. MFA programs. I have a very naughty black cat named Misty whom I adore, a yellow squawking parakeet that I hate, and a couple of huge overfed discus that I'm about to pan fry.
