Mary's Story
Life
Life.. full of ups and downs and surprises. I came all this way and all over the US and world and back home again to good old Orange County. I always wanted to be a nurse well I waited long enough but here I am. Life is full of Surprises! WooHoo! I am glad I grew up with people like you in the time that I did. We had the best year! '75' Rocks. If I hadn't come back to Orange County I would never have met the love my life now, my husband Timothy Tyler, he is my knight in shining armor! Thank you lord for showing me my way back home to people who really care about people. I have 4 children all grown now and they have children, 8 grands now to be exact. I love them all and so does my husband papa. Some live in North Carolina so it makes it hard to spoil them.Packages are sent every holiday! The two here in Southern California get spoiled every weekend! Love Gaming online yeah that's right a gaming grandma lol, Dancing, Bowling, and Scottish festivals, and if it ain't Scottish.. it's Crrraap! Ha-ha, ;), I love just driving with my plum convertible PT/GT Turbo, in a Scottish clan group "Clan Gregor", and love to travel. My last fun trip was to the Caribbean with 100 Orange County Bowlers ha-ha. Being chased by hurricanes. Lots of little trips all over the US just having a blast meeting all the gaming ladies! My husband is always by my side to cheer me on and get me going, once I start having fun it's no end! He is what makes everything else so much fun, life is great! How about you?
School

ed my typing teacher what was his name Micheal Michaelson? Well not really hated he tried to get me kicked out of my favorite school when I got pregnant. He eventually succeeded. I Loved PE and HomeEc. Spanish was a little crazy with the boys football coach teaching, what was his name? English, who was that in my class that got teachers pet. I got straight A's and not an A given, the teacher only gave out one and that was upsetting, not right either. Can't believe the Art teacher was dealing pot in the back room but everyone knew it haha. Don't do it never did. College is great, I am always happy to learn something new. Especially when it is concerning my career and life nursing.
College
A few things here, a few classes there. Finally found what I liked and that was helping people so I went to school to became a nurse. Love it!
Workplace
Nursing is the career not many can hack or do properly, I see people just there for money or just to work go home and get paid, and that's not what it is all about. It's helping others and caring about others no matter who they are. Making sure all their needs are met so they can get well or be as comfortable as can be in a state that has no cure. That is what my job means to me!
Military
Spent 18 years as a M.O.M. in the Army. Ft Lewis, Ft. Rucker, Ft. Hood, Ft. Ord, Wuerzburg Germany, Presideo of San Francisco, Ft. Bragg,... Braggin on Bragg. Great family of people and friends. Too bad you always have to up and leave em at a moments notice. That's Army Life!
