Life After graduating from WHS in 1949, I worked, married, moved a whole lot. Ended up in Mississippi where the people are very friendly, sociable, and just love it here. We do have the occasional t-storms and possible tornado watches, but not a lot of snow to shovel. 2004 gave us a sort of white Christmas but more sleet than snow.....but it WAS white...and very cold. The new year of 2005 will warm up and so far looks like a rosy future. I spend a lot of time on my computer and with my sewing machines.....my main hobbies. We are also living in the midst of Civil War history. Corinth is the Crossroads of the Confederacy, and they practice reenactments often. Lots to see here. Come and visit. In January 2006, we became a really empty nest. The last doggie passed away. We were three weeks alone which seemed strange after over 50 years of the patter of four feet in the house.
