Mary's Story
Graduated from CSULB with BA Spanish, Minor in Latin American Studies/Portuguese and received a scholarship to attend UC Santa Barbara for a Intensive Summer Course in Portuguese. Did my Junior Year Abroad in Mexico City from CSULB, and traveled the Central American Republics from Guatemala to Panama and back. zil for two years. Taught Spanish and Portuguese at high school and college levels for 15 years here in the USA. Had a great time travelling! Recently, 2018, went to Machu Picchu and Lima, Peru. Great travels! Retired in Accounting at the NRG Power Plant in Sandwich, MA in 2015. I am remarried and living in Florida! Growing up in CA and going to Millikan High School opened up so many opportunities for me! I have had a great life so far!
