Mary's Story
Life
I married in 1969, had a daughter in 1974 and was divorced in 1983. I remarried in 1991 and will be happily celebrating my 25th anniversary in May of 2016.
I was Department Head of Neurodiagnostic Studies at High Point (NC) Regional Health System for 15 years, then moved to southern California with my 9 year old daughter in 1983. I spent about 30 years involved in managed healthcare, first working for large corporations, and eventually started my own consulting company in 1995, working with physician practices, out-patient surgery centers, and diagnostic studies practices. n 2012. My husband travels often for his work, and I usually stay at home - unless it is a really a fun or exotic place he's going. I take care of our home/lives, my husband's uncle who is mildly brain damaged and suffers from Alzheimer's, and our never-ending supply of cat rescues! If my husband isn't traveling, he works out of his home office (formerly *my* home office before my retirement) which I really enjoy. I am a voracious reader - never without a book. Favorite authors include Harlan Cobin, Brad Thor, David Baldacci, Greg Isles, James Patterson, the late Vince Flynn, Tom Clancy, Nelson DeMille, and Lee Child.
