Mary's Story
I only went to school in Bokoshe in the 4rh and 5th grade. My mother ran the cafe downtown. The Parkers, who had the grocery store were my aunt and uncle. Jack Parker, my cousin, was my hero. - actually still is. I love that guy! I remember Bokoshe as one of the greatest parts of my young life. What freedom and fun we had. I remember the movie house, where we'd all go to watch the Little Rascals. I remember all of us going to the Pentecostal church and getting saved and the show...Expand for more
went broke! Mrs. Talbort was our teacher and I loved her reading Nancy Drew Mysteries to us in class.
In my life, I've written 6 books. My two favorites are "From Pain to Promise" and "A Special Pilgrim's Progress." Both are available on Amazon.
I was married 50 years to Allen Froese. We had two sons. Joel and Scott. I've had a wonderful life - with Jesus as my anchor. It wasn't trouble free but His continued guidance and love have given me everything I've needed.
