Maryann's Story
I am on Facebook, you can find me on Mary Ann Gnas-Fritz. So if anyone is on FB and wants to Friend me, I would love to accept your Friend. My message line is open so it would be nice if you could message me if you are Female and you are using your married name. It would be helpful to recognize who you are. OR you can send me a message on this site if you want to contact me.
I have four Children, six Grandchildren. My eldest is living in MN and has two Children. The others live in the area. All my Children graduated from Bay View. I have lived in this house since I was married. My Husband (Charles Gary Fritz) passed away February 21, 2014, and was a 1962 Graduate of Bay View. Did not know him then, but met him when one of my Friends called me in December of 1965 to ask me to visit her at her Mother's house when she and her Husband came back to Milwaukee.
I love to travel when I can find someone who likes to and can afford it. Can't go myself due to night blindness and macular degeneration in one eye.
I am from St. Francis WI and now live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am widowed. The schools I attend...Expand for more
ed are Bay View High School in Milwaukee- Thompson Ave Grade School, Willow Glen Grade School and St. Francis Heights, all in St. Francis just by living in one house on Norwich St. They kept on changing where I was suppose to attend School. I graduated in 1960 from Thompson Ave. Grade School. Since St. Francis did not have a High School when I graduated from Grade School, we were sent to Bay View High School in Milwaukee. When St. Francis High School opened in Sept. of 1962, my Class was allowed to complete our High School years at Bay View. Very happy they did this.
I like the music from the 50's and 60's and those I can dance to now. I still love to Dance at weddings with my young Nieces and sing off key when I am riding in a car.
Update (5-23-23) On 12-29-22 I ended up in the ER from Hypertension, my Blood Pressure was over 200 and decided it was time I move out of my house to a safer place. I am now living BACK in St. Francis a block North from my original home. I am living in Independant Senior living and LOVE it! I feel safe with the Friends I have made and we all look out for one another.
