Maryellen's Story

The baby I'm holding in my new pic is my grandson! He was born Feb 23, one month to the day that my 21 year old son was killed in a car accident. My grandson's name is the same as my son's ~ Daniel. He is the sunshine after the storm! I miss my Daniel every day, yet I manage to think of crap he did to make me laugh.... At 21 years old, he would still jump out to scare me when I came out of the bathroom! Things he did to make me smile were many, he brought me a Valentine heart filled with chocolates ~ yep, I still have it. Not the chocolates though, are you crazy? Come on,...Expand for more
I'm a chick!! LOL! I thank God every day for my 3 girls and my husband. Also for my job, I left the Homehealth agency due to lack of benefits to work for an Independant Living Facility as the housekeeper (the agency had sent me there to work for someone I was with for 6 years, so they offered me the job when my client passed). So now after 12 years I FINALLY have benefits ~ YAY VACATION PAY!!!!! Life isn't what it was by any stretch, a death of a child SUCKS more than anything in the world, though I have a lot to still be thankful for ~ and I am. Thanks for stopping by :)
