Maryrose's Story
Hi all!
I'm having a really busy year -- working hard as a writer and mom to my two amazing kids (boy & girl, age 10 and 13 now).
I've been living in New York City since I left high school: a decade in the East Village, a decade+ in Williamsbug Brooklyn, three years in Manhattan and now two years to the Bronx! I bought a sweet, tiny little house in Riverdale and we are settling in nicely.
For anyone who's interested, and especially anyone who has or works with tweens and teens -- I've written four novels for the "y...Expand for more
oung adult" market -- think 12 and up. This year my new books are MY LIFE: THE MUSICAL, the tale of two Long Island teens obsessed with Broadway (sound familiar?), and HOW I FOUND THE PERFECT DRESS, a funny, faery-filled romp about a girl who's half snarky teen, half legendary goddess from the days of Irish lore.
