Matilda's Story
Life
Partly retaired, but still can't cut loose of the real world with it's fast pace. Living here in my 1710 house with my husband and animals on our small acreage with all of it's history is wonderful. Last year summer we had to put to rest (the old man as I called him) our oldest horse, he was 35years old and he passed away on his birthday. We still have my 2 girls (horses) left which I love dearly. Then there is my toy poddle and my barn dog the collie-shepard...Expand for more
. My barn dog loves her horses too, always there with me.
We also raise chickens for eggs for our friends and beef for meat. We have a pretty full life. There's always something to do around here and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I did find time to teach myself Tatting this May which I love. I made my niece's baby girl a tatted dress ,bonnet,and slip. I designed the dress as I went along and It came out beautiful and fit her to a tee.
