Matt's Story

After graduation I went to Tech College in Staples and graduated in the Machine Trades program. Following that I moved to the cities where I worked as a machinist for a couple of years, until I figured out that I could not stand living in the cities. We moved back to Bemidji in 1992, where I worked for a local machine shop until 2003, when I quit to open my own business, ...Expand for more
a small machine/welding shop specializing in repairs and manufacturing. I married Lynn Jacobson in 1990, one year after our son Tyler was born. We now live in a small development just west of town. We have 3 sons, Tyler 19, Mason 10 and William 8. So I believe I win the award for being married the longest, but I think Mary Zvara has me beat on oldest child, but not by much.
