Matt's Story

After Delta State I got 2 graduate degrees in Entomology from Auburn University. I was a Professor of Biology for 30 years at what was then The University of Southwestern Louisiana. Now called The University of Louisiana, Lafayette. I have 2 sons and two living grandch...Expand for more
ildren. In 1992 I retired and moved to Opelika AL. Since 1999 I have been helping a non-profit called Discover Life In America catalog all of the living organisms in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I work with the Orthoptera (grasshoppers, katydid, crickets).
