Matt's Story
After graduating Redwood in 3 years, I joined the Coast Guard for 4 years. I served in Alaska and Texas. Then, I moved to Colorado and attended Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado. I earned an AA (Criminal Justice) and a BA (Geography). rtly after Sep 11, 2001. I spent 6 years in the Air Force and was stationed in Georgia, Korea, and Nebraska. I met my wife in Georgia. I left the Air Force in 2007 from Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, Nebraska, and took a job as a Defense Contractor for a about 3 years while I finished my MBA--I spent about 2 of those years just outside Mobile, Alabama. I then got hired by the Department of Defense and live in Tampa, Florida.
