Leaving Hamilton H.S, I joined the Air Force, and after training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio Tx, was stationed at Aviano AB Italy. Being young and single, I traveled much of the world latter being reassigned to Scott AFB in IL. In 77 I was reassigned to Spangdahlem AFB Germany to join my then wife Vera, who had joined the AF. My daughter Anneliese, (Lisa) was born in Bitburg Germany shortly before I was reassigned to Lackland AFB and then reassigned to recruiting duty in Greenfield WI where Vera and I separated. While in the Milwaukee area I spend some time with my parents, Learned to sail with my brother Perry and met the love of my life, Kim! I was recalled from recruiting duty by desert storm and sent to Griffis AFB in up state NY to supervise base security and Law Enforcement forces after protesters broke into a base nuclear facility.
