Matt's Story
Life
Hi all...
I have only been back to Leilahua once, but I still visit Northern VA once a year or so. Since graduation I have been living in Emporium, PA, which is located in the Northwest part of the state.
I have been married to Barb since 1983 and have three children; daughters Maggie and Kaitlyn, and my son Michael.
Surprizing as it may seem to those of you who knew me back "in the day", I have managed to attain an Associates in Business from Penn State and a B.S. degree in the same from Columbia.
In 1997I finally quit fighting the call I have felt since high school (and Young Life), and went back to school, taking...Expand for more
the course work necessary to prepare myself for ordination. In April of 2002 I was was ordained to the Diaconate, and in November of that same year I was ordained an Episcopal Priest and serve as Rector of Emmanuel Episcopal here in Emporium.
We live on a 143 acre farm and greatly enjoy all things outdoors. All three children have married, and we now have 6 grandchildren (so far!).
I spend most of my free time either working outdoors on projects related to the farm, or reading. I really enjoy Mysteries!
