Matt's Story
Hellooo!
So after graduating at Atlee, I went to JMU where I learned to forget to go to class for 2 years. After that false start, I moved to downtown Richmond and lived with Dave Elliott for a year working and playing. After deciding to go back to school, I moved to Blacksburg, VA and eventually graduated from Radford with a degree in Anthropology. I was playing a lot of music at the time and having a blast. I met my now wife and we hit the road traveling cross country for 2 months until we ran out of money in Portland Oregon. We lived there for almost a year (best place ever!). o graduate school for teaching. I got a job teaching middle school science and did that for 4 years - loved every minute of it! Nonstop hilarity. I was in a bluegrass band for 5 years in Philadelphia and toured all around Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
My wife and I now live in Vermont where I am designing our house that I will be building come June 1st of this year (2008). It's going to be crazy but quite fun. I am playing music with several different groups up here, doing some carpentry work on the side, but mostly working on the house.
We spend our time rock climbing, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing, hiking, kayaking - you name it. Life is good! Drop me a line and let me know how you are doing.
