Matt's Story
Life
I graduated from VT in 1996 with a biology degree and decided I was having too much fun to leave. I graduated again in 1997 with a Biochemistry degree and a chem. minor. Then, I started grad school in Frederick, MD where I currently reside. I'm working at the National Cancer Research Institute's Frederick campus where I'm working in the AIDS Vaccine Program. ad our first child in August of 2007. I've been very active in the Maryland Jaycees and have help many positions at the local and state level. I was named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans by the United States Jaycees for a combination of my "real" and community service work. I just got my 13th paper published in a peer reviewed medical journal. All in all, life is good.
