Matthew's Story

Life Short but sweet, I graduated from Leavitt in 1998...Duhh...Graduated with my degree in Computer Science from CMTC (as it was called then) in 2000, took on a great job in Yarmouth right after graduating, stayed for 4 years becoming a 3D HDLS Applications Engineer, found the love of my life (not married yet), moved to Florida (where I am now), found a great job doing what I know best (3D High Defintion Laser Scanning) in Orlando, now taking on roll of Instrument person too...What will come next? School Although high school was fun, I do wish I opened up a little more. That's about the biggest thing I regret. I was always known as a little shy...Some people also thought I was stuck-up...for reasons unknown...Best memories of high school would have to be my friends and playing the sports I played. College College was fun, did w...Expand for more
ell and enjoyed saving the money I did by going to CM instead of a 4 year...Mostly I enjoyed playing on soccer team that won the championship 3 years straight...2 of which I was apart of. Workplace My career is pretty hard to follow, well not follow rather understand. I am a 3D High Definition Laser Scanning Applications Engineer. I work for an engineering firm here in Orlando, Florida. We engineer bridges, highways, structures, etc. I've worked on projects such as the Big Dig in Boston, MA...Highway work in Boston and other parts of MA. I've worked on Oil Drilling rigs off the coast, tunnels and sub-way stations in New York, roller coasters at Disney, the HMS Rose for the movie Master and Commander...And a whole lot of other projects...Very interesting technology that I'm extremely happy to be using on such high-profile projects.
