Matthew's Story
40 years and it seems like yesterday. With 30 years in the state retirement system I am just one bad day from take this job and shove it! Time has allowed me to become accustomed to my toes in the water and my ass in the sand. So I spend as much time as I can near the water. Michelle Rhodes (Green Classs 83) and I divorced in 2014 but we have remained friends. Our daughter is a grown woman and has a life of her own in Amarillo working for Phillips 66.

the Fire Marshal in Alvin Texas and work part-time for a forensic engineering company. As strange as things get, I am also a licensed plumber in Texas and Louisiana, thanks to a start at Hays Plumbing (Bill Hays Class 81) while we were in High School. The combination has allowed me to investigate large losses for insurance companies that involve plumbing or gas leaks.
