Matthew's Story

Life I am the Director of Technology at the Cincinnati Christian University. I was married in June 2001 in Miamisburg, OH. My wife is a second grade teacher in our local school district. I am slowly working on a master's degree. In the meantime I continue to serve God as a preacher, teacher, and music minister. Mostly I'm just having fun. I am proud to announce that we are expecting a baby girl this May!!! School I realize that I didn't graduate at Miamisburg. But man it meant more to me being there than graduating in Florida. So I consider it my alma mater. When I think back on our school days I think that what stands out the most are the fads. Man, to be going to school in the 80's was someth...Expand for more
ing "special"? I mean we wore some pretty weird things. From Friendship pins on our shoelaces, parachute pants, and Leon Neon, to Coca-Cola clothes, tight-rolled jeans, and Swatches up and down the arms. College I tranfered to CBC (now CCU) back in 1993. I didn't quite make it out by 1997 though. I took a year off in 1996-1997 to do a year long intership at Kingsway under Barry Smith and Jamie Schools. It was well worth the setback. I came back to the college and got a job working helpdesk in IT working with insane people like Mickey Oppy and Jeremy Earle. I met and married Deana Stowe and eventually graduated in 2002. Now I am working on some graduate studies while continuing my work at the school.
