Life Nothing too terribly interesting to report, sad to say. After high school, I graduated from Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis. I bounced around several different dealerships, working on various makes of domestic and foreign sh*t-boxes. In the mid 80's, I did two years with an IMSA Camel Lights road racing team as a fabricator and crew member. Chasing a race car hauler around the country isn't all it's cracked up to be: I got to see lots of hotel rooms, restaurants, race track paddock areas and pit lanes . . . and little else! Feeling the stress of being out of town for one week of every month (races always fall on the holidays), I took a job at the team owner's Porsche dealership.
