Matthew's Story
Life
I'm a professor of philosophy now & have served a few terms in the Hawaii State Legislature trying to do my part to make the world a better place.
More the bookish wine-drinker than the punk kid I once was, Earned the Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, B.A. Philosophy, B.A. History, and M.A. Philosophy at the University of Toledo.

hy but also some humanities, religion, and political science. I've traveled to India to teach Buddhist Philosophy for an American study abroad program and now live in Honolulu. The pictures on this site are from those earlier days in 2003-4. The color photo is from 2016.
