Workplace
I have been with SBC for 4 years now (I'm writing this in October 2005). Before SBC, I had been with seven different companies since I got out of the Marine Corps in 1998 including TWA for 2 years as an Avionics Mechanic
I'd really like to pursue owning my own company. Making money for someone else is not the way I like to spend my time.
Military
Well, I got through training in one peice, I was never held back in any training. If you do...Expand for more
n't know, I ended up working on the AH-1W Cobra attack helicopter and the UH-1N Huey light transport helicopter as an Avionics tech.
If I had it over to do again, I still would have joined the corps. I've used all of my G.I Bill to get my Bachelors Degree and I used my VA loan to buy a house; great benefits I must say.
I'm thankful for what I learned in the Marine Corps, in regards to discipline and how to work under pressure, which I believe is the one thing that has carried me as far as I've gone.
