Matthew's Story
Life
I enlisted in the Navy on 20 Oct 1956 and retired 1 Feb 1994, or as I like to put it, I spent 37 years, three months, and 12 days in the Navy. Then Clinton was elected, and I quit.
While in the Navy, I attended Westminster College in Fulton, MO, Washington University in St. Louis, MO, University of Maryland, Correspondence course, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, University of Omaha, Bellvue, NE, University of Southern Califor...Expand for more
nia, Correspondence course, Pace College, USS Guam, Southwestern College, Chula Vista, CA and finally graduated from San Diego State University, San Diego, CA in the class of 1975. Since I retired, I've been supporting San Diego State Athletics, the Kiwanis Club of Imperial Beach/South Bay, CA, New Hope Community Church, and various military organizations such as the VFW, American Legion, etc. All in all, life is good.
