Matthew's Story
Life
Well, since leaving the comfortable confines of Magnolia I have managed to graduate from West Liberty with a BA in Psychology and English. In '87 I accepted a teaching position in Randolph County Schools. In '95 I completed a Masters in Education, and have subsequently continued to take post-graduate classes through WVU. I now serve as Chair of the English Department at Tygarts Valley High, and teach a couple of adjunct classes for Fairmont State University per term. elling them to cut their hair and turn down the music) in a modest home(By that I mean that my house rocks, as does everyone who lives in it) in the downtown section of Elkins, WV, near Davis & Elkins College, where I teach creative writing in the summer for their Upward Bound program. I still enjoy outdoor activities, so any given weekend you may find me on a river, in a cave, or within the forest. If not in the forest I might be found playing music, writing, drawing, or just enjoying a glass of wine or a regional dark brew with friends. Since my mother passed away, I do not have occasion too often to see New Martinsville, so to you all I say, "Hello. Please take care".
