Matthew's Story
Life
Um yeah, Im living in a house in Sellwood with some friends. I have had an illustrious career waiting tables and what not. I am now retired and am a professional poker player. Which means I lose money at a slower rate than your average poker player. Over the past year ive played poker in Atlantic City, Foxwoods Conneticut, Vegas, LA, locally and lots online. I played in my first WSOP event last July, finishing 34 out of 406, winning a little money.
I also have been on a few trips to North Africa and Middle East to spread the love of Jesus Christ. I really enjoyed my time over there and look forward to going back and resuming my study of arabic.
Jesse Putnam and I still hang out alot, and we may move to Mexico sometime soo...Expand for more

We did go to Morocco, Europe, the Carribeen together though. it was pretty fun. Being a poker degenerate has it's benefits.
Brief update: I am living in Mexico for 4 months, it is really beautiful here in Zacatecas, back in June of 07, but who knows for how long.
Workplace
Playing Poker has been great and tough at the same time. Definately the hardest most stressful job i have ever had. But i like not having a boss. Still the emotional strain is tough. Most days i feel like i have been punched in the face. And I am a big winner. I hate to think how bad the losers must feel. I am starting to get into tournaments more, but cash games have been my main stay, live and online.
