Maureen's Story
The story continues: Upon completing High School I went to college and got my EMT. I got a job on the Chicago Fire Department. While working I got married and had 2 great kids. My daughter was in 1981 and my son in 1982. I then got Divorced. I continued working with the CFD and meet my current husband. We got married in 1986 and had 2 more children (boys). I then left the fire department and became a stay at home mom.
My husband of 24 almost 25 years retired from the Chicago fire department. He was a Chicago Paramedic Officer. We lived in Edison Park up until 10 yrs ago. We moved to Wisconsin where we now reside. 3 years ago we built a home on the lake and still have a house in town.

aughter still live in Chicago with my grandson who is 6yrs old. My 2nd oldest upon graduation went into the marine corp. Upon completing his tour he has become a Chicago police officer. My 3rd son is in college at UWSuperior where he is completing his teaching degree. My 4th and last son is also at UWSuperior getting his theature degree. Upon completing that he is then going to culinary school.
The kids have keep me busy but now things are calming down.
I'm back to school to further my medical ambitions.We still get back to Chicago to visit family and friends. I also work as a nanny and housekeeper for people around town.
