Workplace
Have been an RN since 1967, Graduated from USC-LA County School of Nursing. Did Intensive Care hospital nursing until 1985 and have done Occupational Health since then. Since 1992 I have have been doing Medical Case Mgmt specializing in Injured workers, Workers Compensation Claims. It helped put 3 kids through college and now I'm trying to cut back on hours worked.
Married 40 years, live in Bellingham, WA since 1973.
Besides the kids and husband, have had about every kind of pet you can imagine including 2 horses (daughters were in 4-H). All the animals are now gone and my kids live in Portland, OR and.or Tampa, FL. Have 3 grandchildren but they live too far away to babysit.
I have been fortunate enough to do a fair amount of travelling. Have seen a few foreign countries and while the kids were growing up we travelled nearly every state in the Union via camper. The trips could have provided a lot more situations for Chevy Chase and his "Vacation" series movies. Camping with a husband, 3 children and a dog included many adventures/funny stories that the kids remember vividly. My 2 daughters have not been camping since.
Besides travel I enjoy reading, crafts, gardening, flower arranging, some quilting, a beginning knitter (but not very good at it).
Mostly I enjoy hearing from and getting re-acquainted with old friends. I treasure the friends I have and enjoying listening to others.
I would love to hear from you. I went to 2 Class of '67 PCHS class reunions and boy, what a nice group of people!
As you probably know I was one of 8 Kelly kids. As a result I fortunate to know many PCHS students from many classes. Believe it or not, as I look at the old annuals I remember most of you (give or take a few 'Senior' moments).
I was the 6th "Kelly" to graduate from PCHS. Kathy, '61 lives in La Crosse, WI; Pat, '60 lives in Claremont, CA; Mike, '59 lives in Ventura, John,'58 lived in Fullerton until his death a few years ago; Peggy, '56 lives in Cascade, ID. My Mom is 94 years old and lives near Green Bay, WI. Dan lives in Bruel, WI and Tim lives in Oshkosh, WI.

Sorry about that, I have lived in the Pacific NW since 1973 not 1943. I'm still not a very good typist despite Sr. Doloria's efforts.
Nov 2011 update.
I quit working full time and have am now a certified Parish Nurse. I volunteer my nursing skills for anyone that needs help. Tom thinks I'm working more now than when I got paid. I enjoy using my nursing skills. I'm still a lousy knitter.
I enjoy travelling and intend to do lots more. My husband Tom is retiring as of Jan 1, 2012, he's been teaching Physical Geography at Western Wa Univ since 1973. We enjoy our home in the Pacific NW but in Feb we plan on moving to So Cal and try to put back together a house that we've been renting out for years. Sept 2012 Update:
It's happening. A small group is trying to organize a 50th Class of '62 Reunion. Scheduled for March 2, 2013 the possible plan is an open house/tour/picnic at PCHS in the afternoon and a dinner or social event at the 4 Points Sheraton Hotel that is located near the LA Co Fairgrounds. Suggestions are welcome as well as memorabilia, decoration, etc. Please contact me on facebook, classmates,or at mtkterich with any names, contacts from our class tht you might know of. Again, other than the date, nothing is set in stone and we are open to helpers and suggestions. Sure hope many will attend. Our classmates are really nice people and it will be great to get re-acquainted again.
Oct 2012 my husband and I are returning to So Calif as "Snow Birds" so I will be more available to help out with the reunion.

To date the reunion committee consists of myself, David Woeste, Annette Stahly Martinez,, Vicki Dever Matlock, Jerry Bogaczyk, Jerry McCoun and John Norr. Others willing to participate are welcome.
Plan is for March 2, 2013 to have a gathering at PCHS to visit and tour the school from 11 AM til 2 PM, Dinner will be at6Pm to Midnight at the Sheraton at Ontario airport. They are giving us a reduced room rate that includes a breakfast, a free hospitality room to gather to visit for Friday and Saturday. The Sheraton will be posting something to show the rooms, rates, etc. There are several other hotels witing walking distance tothe Sheraton that have both higher and lower prices, ie. Motel 6 to the Double Tree, Hilton, Econolodge, etc.
The evening is still in planning stage and sugestions are welcome. So far the meun is beef ri-tip, Chicken Roulade (? Spellling) or fresh Wild Salmon. We hope to have a memory book and will send out info requests to all classmates that we can contact so they can contribute regardless if they attend the evening or not.
There will also be a"Spartan Spirit Fund" which anyone can donate to: these funds will be used to help someone that would like to attend the reunion but can't because of financial difficulties. A small committee of 2-3 will review requests for help and all info would be confidential. Funds that someone would want to donate to the school will be kept separate and any donations are strictly up to the individuals.
More info will be available soon and we are looking for someone to create a Class of "62 web site/blog. It is amazing how many people we have contacted and most plan on attending. A partial list is on Class mates Reunion site. Hope to see you there.
Meanwhile, Tom & I are getting settled in at Newport Beach and we have a land line phone #. I can't post any address, phone # or email on this site..I am on facebook though.
