Maureen's Story
I moved to High River way back when I was 7 and ready to start Grade 2. I lived there and finished High School and then I was off to the U. of C. I graduated from Uni with both a B. Sc. and a B. Ed. ( I don't think I really wanted to go out a get a job but the life of a student can be quite pricey).

ite active in the ATA. I taught grade One for about 20 years before I decided to move up to Grade Four. I taught there until I retired this past June. What a good time to retire!!!
Just before by 50th birthday I met Dave, who was the love of my life. He loved me enough to move to Wainwright from Calgary. We bought an acreage and he was lovingly adopted by my dogs. He unexpectedly passed away in February so the dogs and I have been working on a new path.
