Maureen's Story
Hi! Briefly, attended Univ. of Lowell 3 yrs while waitressing and bartending, which became my profession. Married great guy with 2 kids (then 10 & 11 yrs old) in 1988, bought old house in Methuen where I still reside. Have many interests related to home renovation and restoration, including woodworking, furniture rehab, upholstery, decorating, window treatments, etc. Have done lots of home dec sewing as well as bridal alterations and tailoring. ning and preserving. I am into organic gardening,and also have a flock of hens for eggs. Sadly, my husband who was also my best friend, died of lung cancer in May, 2009. Fortunately,we went for it in life, grabbed for the gusto, and did anything we wanted to experience. It was a full life with no regrets, and that has made the healing process much easier.
