Maurice's Story
Life
A lot has happened in my life since high school. Here is a snapshot of a few milestones:
1985 - Graduated Hillside High School
1988 - Met my wife
1988 - Fell in love with my wife
1990 - Graduated with a B.S. Degree in Electronics and Computer Technology from the greatest HBCU ever created and one of the best universities in the country bar none...North Carolina A&T State University. Aggie Pride!!
1994 - Got married to my beautiful wife Kim.
1994 - Bought my first house. That was exciting:)
1991-2002 - Worked with Nortel Networks. I was a mid level executive there for 11 years.
2000 - Got my MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. Nortel paid for that. That's one of the reasons I'm not mad at them:)
2000 - My beautiful daughter and the other love of my life Kierston Sage Deck was born.
2000 - Bought my second Home and became neighbors with Pernell Briggs A.K.A. P-Trol
2001 - Wrote, Produced, Performed and Recorded a CD on my label Decko Entertainment. I recorded the CD under the name S.A.G.E. which stands for Strong, Adaptive, God Fearing and Enterprising. The name of the CD is Smooth. I sold a little under 3000 copies worldwide. I think that was pretty good considering there was no marketing campaign for the CD and I didn't even tour. I have fans in the US, Japan, Switzerland, Germany and the UK.

2002-Present - My wife and I started Decko Financial Group, a mortgage brokerage company located in Durham, NC. So if you need a mortgage loan, want to refinance your home, or just want to consolidate some bills, give us a call we're in the book.
2003 - Got my Life Insurance and Long Term Care licenses. If you need any life insurance or if you or your parents need long term care insurance give me a call personally. I'm in the phone book. I'm looking for other people that want to get licensed too.
2004-Present - My wife and I started Decko Realty Group, a real estate brokerage company located in Durham, N.C. So again if you are looking for a home or buying a home give us a call.
2005-Present - Started an online business consultation service for individuals in the life insurance industry.
2007 - Welcomed the birth of my son, Tyson Marquel Deck. He's a handsome little fellow with lots of personality and his sister loves him to death.
Well that's my life in a nutshell. God is good and we are blessed.
