Meagan's Story

Life Hmm... an update on my life in 4,000 characters or less. Well, here it goes... I graduated in 1999 and moved to Florida in 2001. I lived in South Beach (THE Miami hot spot - for those of you who don't watch E!) for a while and then I moved to Weston which is about 40 minutes away and a little bit more suburban. If you aren't sure where that is just wait for the next hurricane to come ashore. We'll be the ones right underneath the big blob on the map that covers the southern portion of Florida. I am married to a wonderful guy and we own a cute little home that we share with a very bossy Dachshund named Daisy. At this point in time she is our only child, but that should change soon enough. As for our hobbies... Sacha, my hubby, races cars and motorcycles all over the country. I am a scrapbooking fanatic and spend a fair amount of time decorating and then redecorating again and again our house. We both spend a lot of time at the gym and travel whenever we can. Earlier this year we spent two weeks in Spain and Morocco and had a really tough time coming back. We are hoping for a trip next year in either Greece or eastern Europe. When all is said and done though, we enjoy a quiet night at home with our Tivo. School When we were in high school I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I laughed so hard on some days that I thought I was going to pass out. I'd go back in a heart beat and suffer through torturous swim practices, the endless walks across the goose-poop riddled field in the freezing cold, and the ulcer-inducing Latin classes!!! College Unlike most of you, I am STILL in college. When I graduated from St. E's I went to CCM for two years and got my degree there. I wa...Expand for more
sn't quite sure where I wanted to go. After two more years in Morris County NJ I was positive that I wanted to go somewhere and went the furthest place I could think of... South Beach. I had the best intentions when I left for the University of Miami, but when I got there realized that between the clubs and the beach there really just wasn’t enough time for classes and homework. So, I quit in order to make more time for my fun. And boy did I have some fun!!! I am back in school now and finishing my degree. I sometimes wonder how much easier it would be if I hadn’t killed all those brain cells partying at Opium, but what can you do. Too late now, right? I am a senior at Nova Southeastern University, but taking it slow because work, volunteer projects, and married life all need to fit into the mix as well. Workplace Well, unfortunately I do have something to share in this category. Much to my chagrin society expects me to get up everyday and contribute my fair share. And there are those pesky creditors that expect their money. So, I spend my days working at a pharmaceutical company. It is great because we are a big public company with great benefits. I work in the Training Department and have a workload that never leaves a moment for boredom. I get to travel a lot and go to conference and seminars and when I am in the office I have my hands in every department in the building. It is nice because I don’t get confined to one specific area of the company and get to branch out, meet everyone imaginable, and really learn the in’s and out’s of the pharmaceutical industry. The other great thing… they pay for me to go to college! Military Does stalking cute sailors at Fleet Week count???
