Megan's Story
Life
I currently live in Annapolis, Maryland, with my husband, Peter, and 18-month-old son, Miles. I'm a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer/editor for Technology Review magazine. After high school, I attended Brigham Young University until 1999 and got my bachelor's degree in print journalism. I worked briefly for a book and newsletter publisher called Executive Excellence in Provo, UT, and then for MyFamily.com, where I edited the Ancestry.com web site and Ancestry magazine. iversity's Medill School of Journalism (just outside Chicago) in 2001. While there, I took part in the launch of Urban Classroom magazine, acting as managing editor. From the Chicago area, we moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where Peter attended MIT's Sloan School of Management (MBA) and I worked as an associate editor at Technoloy Review (the magazine for which I now freelance). Peter now works on marketing campaigns for DirecTV and Nike, and I enjoy living near his family, who are scattered throughout Maryland.
