Megan's Story
Life
I am currently living in the Bay View neighborhood in Milwaukee. My husband, Shawn, graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is employed by the City of Milwaukee as a police officer. Together we have an amazing five year old son, Gavin. To add to our family, we have a dog (Sugar) and a cat (Friendly, or "kitty" as Gavin prefers to call her). I still have a very close relationship with my mom, who is loving being a grandma. College
Right after high school I went on to college. I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, where I received my B.A. in Criminology & Law Studies.
Workplace
Following my graduation from Marquette, I began work at St. Joan Antida High School in Milwaukee. I began as an Assistant in the Development Office, and was soon promoted to Director of Special Events & Communications. After taking some time off to be a stay-at-home mom, I started working at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Human Research Protection Office.
