Melanee's Story
I am married to Kirk, my high school honey. We have two kids, Kaetlee is 13 (how scary is that?) and Leo is 6. Kirk is a cattle buyer for a company that deals in natural beef. I am lucky enough to not have to work, to be able to stay home and take care of the kids. We live in rural Oto, or as I like to say, between Climbing Hill and Oto. The kids go to school at Maple Valley Anthon-Oto, one in each school at the time being. My husband does the team roping thing, Kaet does the barrel...Expand for more
racing thing and Leo wants to be a bull rider. So much for teaching the kids about culture. Not so much! I basically stay home and take care of everyone, run for my folks and help take care of my 89 year old Grandma. Seems as though things go crazy if I take a day off. I am into politics. My family cringe when they have to ride in the pickup with me and they have to listen to Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly. Now I wish I would have paid attention in Gov't. Things are well here.
