Melanie's Story
Life
Wow, time is passing so quickly! For the last seventeen years I'd say my life has pretty much been spent on the move. After attending WVU, I joined the Air Force and had a great time traveling (aka relocating.) That's where I met my wonderful husband of ten years now and decided to slow things down a bit to start our family. So I separated from the AF and began my career in management only to find out hubby was picked up for flight training! "On-the-go again" pretty much sums up that point in our lives. Juggling life as a new mommy with a career while on the move every few months became quite tedious. At that point I decided to stay-at-home with our two, sweet little girls, now 8 and 6yrs old, and somewhere between then and now became interested in inderior design an...Expand for more
d wedding planning. A few certifications and planning jobs later, I now own my own planning business in Florida. Life certainly has been interesting! I miss those of you I had the pleasure of knowing and truly wish everyone life's best. :)
School
School days were about making friends and "finding ourselves" through those we were impacted by most. Oh, and there might have been some learning along the way as well ... :)
College
What -a- blast!!! The learning part was okay too ... but Linda, Julie, Tracy, Terri - you guys will always be in my thoughts.
Military
After college, I wanted to see the world outside of West Virginia. So I took a leap of faith and joined the Air Force. Crazy? Perhaps, but it was the best learning experience I've had thus far. Thanks Todd!
