Melanie's Story
Life
After high school I attended CSULB and went to work for the Federal Govt. After I married I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and then Albuquerque, NM for 11 before returning to southern Calif. for 5 years.
I was a flight attendant for American Airlines...formally America West Airlines and US Airways for 31 years. I ended up retiring a few tears earlier than anticipated when travel dropped during Covid. . It was always a great adventure and there are parts of that life I will always miss. I relocated to the Dallas, TX area about 5 years ago to be closer to my son and his family. I recently bought a house in the town of Flower Mound.
I have one son who is now 39, and is a Maintenance Controller in the aircraft maintenance department for American Airlines at DFW. I am very proud of him....he's a super young man. He is married a...Expand for more

I am still single....by choice...and very happy. I still love to travel, and have taken some great trips....Italy in October 2007, and again in 2019, a bike and barge trip from Amsterdam to Bruges, a week in Amsterdam/Haarlem (at least once a year,, 2 weeks in Ireland, Christmas Markets in Strasbourg and Paris, along with a a trip to Normandy, France to see the D-Day beaches. Prague has been on my list for a long time...hoping to get there this year.
I'm going to try and attend the all class picnic in July, and hope to see some of you!!
