Melanie's Story
Life
Let's see. Since high school I went to college for two years in Oklahoma at Oral Roberts University and majored in Pastoral Church Ministries with emphasis in youth ministry. In 2004 I had gastric bypass surgery and have lost over 160lbs since high school. I have traveled to El Salvador and Ecuador. We were able to go into to some remote places in the jungle that you would only see in National Geographic. How many people can say they have walked across the Amazon River on a swinging bridge and ate guinne pig for lunch, I can! School
I went to Harrison and Signature School.
College
I attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma for two years. While there I was a Pastoral Church Ministries Major/Youth Ministry (one of the two girls in that major I might add). Came home because of finacial and family issues. I will finish school either by correspondance or on campus in the near future!
Workplace
I am on staff at a church in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Harvestime Temple, as a Children's Pastor.(<--- this is what I went to school for) This is my main job. I also work at Kohls Department Store been there since high school.
