Melanie's Story
Life
After Baker, I went to the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fl, for college. I graduated with a B.S. in Marine Science & Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. Then I took a year off to do an internship at Mote Marine Lab in Sarasota before going back to Miami to work at a dive shop. Fun! After that, I started my Ph.D. in Biology, starting shark feeding ecology, at USF in Tampa. I was also working at a Master's in Science Education. ft my programs. Right away, I found I was carrying our first child, Chloë. Then we moved to Guam while I was carrying our identical twin boys. They were in trouble, so we moved to Virginia Beach for better medical care. After the twins - Jack and Robby - were born, Robby died of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. We started a charity in his name, CARE Package, Inc., a year later. After another year, we had baby Sophia, who is now two. Now Chloë, who is five, is starting her acting career. She's going to be phenominal, and if you ever see Chloë Odette out there, that's MY KID!!!! :D
