Life
Hello all! Currently I'm a stay at home/working Mom! I am the Office Manager for my Husband's company, Jimmy Jones Irrigation, which we run from our home. My children are Chase who is 13, Grace who is 10, Reese who is 5 and the baby, if you can still call her that, is Maegan and she is 4.
My Husband, Jimmy, and I formed Jimmy Jones Irrigation in February of 2005 & haven't stopped since. Who knew there was such a demand? I guess Jimmy did! Anyway, the schedule is hectic but, we manage. It's not very easy to run a family and a business I'm finding out.
This summer we're planning a vacation with the kids to one of three theme parks. The final decision on which one exactly will be left up to the kids.
By next year this time we hope to have opened our second Jimmy Jones Irrigation office in Atlantic Beach. It is our goal for that to be our "home base" and the New Bern office will be our secondary but, for right now, we're just tackling New Bern one yard at a time.
My parents are still on Old Vanceboro Road and we are residing with them temporarily until we get the business under way well. Our hope is to be out and into our own place before the Holidays 2005. Anyone in the area who knows where we live should feel free to look us up! :o)
My oldest son is involved with the WCMS band & chorus. He is also very into video games. I think that his hope is to be the first singing, saxaphone playing, skateboarder! I'm not sure how he plans to combine the three loves in his life but, knowing my son like I do, he already has a plan... ... ...

hoice is clarinet. I played flute, so naturally I was bummed when they BOTH chose reed instruments. She will be in sixth grade.
The five year old will enter kindergarten this fall, so it starts all over again for me then. I forsee many, many trips to the Principals office, or many parent-teacher conferences in my future. He's quite a handful. Eager to learn but, determined to do it his own way, which is usually the hard way. Takes right after his father, that one does! LOL!! His sister is much worse though... ... ...
The "baby" is Maegan. I hope to place her in pre-school next fall when her brother starts kindergarten. She is very strong willed and needs to be socialized with other children her age so that she can learn that things can not always go her way. Other than that she's the most adoreable 4 year old you'd ever want to meet!
We attend Temple Baptist Church in New Bern, when we can, and we hope to become full-fledged members soon. Our children will be attending Bible School there this June and they enjoy the Wednesday night meetings as well.
The latest addition to our family is Casey. He's a Terrier/Basset Hound mix and one bundle of energy! He's still in the "puppy stage"; chewing, biting, et cetera... ..., so he's been banished to a pin outside until his enthusiasm curbs a little. He only has to be pinned when we aren't outside & the kids run right for the pin each time they exit the house. He is a very loved and valued member of the family.
That's about all that's new with us & me. We're working to make our business a success and trying to raise a family in the process. What else in the world is there?
