Melinda's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met him in the parking lot of Hardee's in Gastonia while cruisin' Franklin Blvd. with friends. Ironically, it was his friend who I first noticed and my friend who was with me encouraged me to stop and talk. I never did get with the friend but have been with my spouse over 17 years.
My Pets
We live on a farm with chickens, ducks, geese, goats, rabbits, sheep, dogs, cats and around us are lots of horses and cows. We raise feist (taco bell) puppies and have a pug and 2 cockatiels.
My Kids

the 7th grade at Kings Mountain Middle School. She is an A/B honor roll student and also a peer mediator. She is a 4-year Girl Scout and is active in our church.
My six year old son is starting 2nd grade at Bethware Elementary and is your typical 6 year old boy. Loves to ride four-wheelers and is into tractors and animals.
My Job
I handle the retail and classified sales territory beginning at Hwy 321 in Gastonia and westward to Lake Lure. I sell advertising for any of The Charlotte Observer's publications and internet site.
