Melinda's Story
Life
That is a picture of me on my 30th birthday. Not a fun day.
I am now working as Assistant Director of the Middle East studies center at OSU. I received my Masters in Arabic in Dec. of '04. I am married and just bought a house. I still keep in touch with the following AP people: Nancy Betts, Chris Barrett, Jennifer Nichols, Hans Utter and others. I enjoy seeing my old teachers at the AP anniversaries, especially Larry and Chris.

back to school (initially on the urging of good friend Chris Barrett) and started working on an MA. I am happy in my current job, but still trying to keep my skills in shape.
I wonder why I came back sometimes, but it really comes down to familiarity, comfort and having good friends in the area. The Bangkok polution and traffic also helped me decide to come back to good ol' Clumbus. I guess Columbus has its good points, too.
