Melissa's Story
Life
My name is Melissa Ann Carson. I attended LBHS 1993-1996. I was swept off to Henderson, NV the last part of my Junior year and was unable to graduate with those I knew of as 'my class.'
I recovered from this quickly though and moved back to Florida after a week of calling NV my new home.
Since I did not have the resources to attend college, I began my crawl up the career ladder, one step at at time. 13 years later and it has brought me to the position I hold now, Comptroller of...Expand for more
a leading financial service company in Fort Myers. There are still more steps to climb on this ladder as CFO is in future with this company. All of this without a college degree. I am truly blessed! I do, of course, intend on going to college to get a degree to back up my experience!
I'm excited to see some of you I called my friends as members on Classmates and hope we can connect. I'd love to hear about where you've been and where you are now. A lot of things change in 13 years...
