Melissa's Story
Life
It has been an interesting road through all of these years. It's still hard to believe so many years have flown by.
I have one daughter, Amanda, by my first husband. First husband is now a well known actor. Daughter has given me two beautiful granddaughters.
My wonderful husband, Dan, and I moved to FL and love it here! The sun, the sand, the beautiful beaches. Sheer heaven.
Over the years I had a lot of health issues and gained a ton of weight. Since that time, Dan & I both had gastric bypass surgery and lost over 300 lbs. between us...Expand for more

I'm busy, busy these days and recently had my first book published and released by McGraw-Hill, titled The Weight-Loss Surgery Connection. Between the book, working on websites for The Weight-Loss Surgery Connection or Tampa Bariatrics, doing speaking engagements around the country and leading a gastric bypass support group for a local hospital . . it makes for long days but I love every second of it!
