Melissa's Story
Life after HHS, I attended NMSU and got my BA. In '94, I got married to Dan, a fellow Aggie, and we moved to Midland, TX after graduation. When my husband got accepted to law school, we moved to Concord, NH and stayed there 3 years while he attended school. After his graduation, we moved to Austin, TX. Dan worked as a patent attorney at a law firm, and I worked at CCITriad, a software company, as a web developer/trainer. We lived there for...Expand for more
4+ years, after which time, Dan got recruited by a headhunter to come work for Microsoft. We moved to the Seattle area (Snoqualmie, to be exact). Due to the tough job market, I started my own web development company where I worked as the primary web designer. I did this for a year, when I was offered a job at Microsoft. Currently I am Project Manager. My husband and I now have a new son, born 6/7/07 and are enjoying parenthood very much.
