Melissa's Story
Life
Currently, I'm in Scottsdale, Arizona. My husband and 2 sons are in the process of moving to Montana. I've lived in AZ since 1995. I got married in 1997. My husband and I started a model train business in 1998. We recently just closed our store doors because the market had taken a nose dive. Not to worry. Our store closing has enabled us to finally move. We've been wanting to move for a few years. Why move you wonder? Well, that dry heat you hear about is still melt your shoes, stinking hot. Plus, my husband, Sam and I are sick of the city.

My surgery has only caused more pain. Some days are better than others. My boys are a great distraction. My son, Tyler whose 8 and in the 4th grade (yes the 4th grade) loves to read and learn. He's not afraid to ask any question. Sometimes we have to go searching for the answer together. My youngest Jacob is 5 and is in preschool. He has what's called childhood apraxia. He has a problem with his speech. Jake is a character. He's very silly, curious, very loving and not to mention very cute (his secret weapon for getting out of trouble).
