Melissa's Story
Life
Well since I left Lapeer East I have been married and divorced, thank goodness for the divorce part. I have had 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls.. My first son passed away in 1994 when he was just 4 months old..My kids ages are 11,9,5,and almost 4.
I just recently moved out of Michigan to get away from the cold winters and all that nasty snow. I now live in Tennessee where it is a little warmer and not as much snow.
My life has been pretty eventful but not a lot of good has come from it except for my wonderful children and finally...Expand for more
a good man that loves me and takes care of me.
School
Imay have not graduated from regular high school but I got my GED in 1996. I missed out on a lot of fun things by not staying in high school with all of my friends. I guess that is the price you pay for being young and dumb and not having much of a brain..lol
College
I went to Detroit College of Business for about a year but I had to quit scool to take care of my 2 little boys at the time. Some day I hope to finish my college degree. Hopefully it is before I turn 80 though.
