Am told I've lived a pretty interesting life. As a feminist/socialist/Green Party loving womyn, I suppose I have been able to think for myself after finally getting out of Texas. Thank you, U.S. Navy. Went into the Navy Reserves and was a 3rd class PO; upon raising my right hand, I received my crow, went to boot-camp in Orlando, FL and realized these people were crazy. Had read 1984 by then and could sure see the writing on those walls. Have marched in protests against the religious right, nazis, the Klan and any other patriarchal insanity/nonsense going on within a 50 mile range. e wonderful cold, wet clime. Have praised the Goddess and all she loves, circling with my kind of nature folks, hoping we survive the George Dubya regime intact. Was proud to attend the WTO protests in Seattle last year. Yep, got to see democracy in action. (Not the glass breaking - that had nothing to do with the protests.) The few rogue cops should have been stopped. The young protesters just wouldn't go home, just wouldn't give up the street. They had so much energy and the poor cops were exhausted. Someone left a box of doughnuts, some candles and a bouquet of flowers at one of the barricades. I thought that was considerate. Blessed Be!
