Melissa's Story
Growing up, we moved quite a bit, so it was only natural for me to continue that way of life after graduation. I eventually ended up in New York working as a nanny when I was twenty, where I met my first husband, which was a horrible disaster. The only good thing that came out of that two year marriage was my son, Andrew, who is now 15.
I ended up in Branson, Missouri where I planned on getting a job singing in a show, but ended up working as a singing server in a diner for four years before marrying the love of my life. Shortly after, we had my daughter McKenzie, now 10, and then two years later we had a set of boy/girl twins, Briar and Brenna.

e and I only mention it because anyone who has lost a parent, especially so young in life knows that this is an event that forever changes you.
I stayed home with my kids until the youngest ones went to school, and now I work as a library aide in our local high school, which I love. The pay is not great, but the hours are convenient with my other job as a mom of four.
The rest of my time is pretty much taken up with my family and volunteering at my church- I teach Sunday School and sing on the praise and worship team for a program called Celebrate Recovery, which is a Christ centered twelve step program.
I am excited to hear from people in my past life. I have changed a lot and I am anxious to find out how life as played out for all of you.
