Melissa's Story
Life
Shortly after graduating college, while I was living back at home in Vernon, I met Will Van Lenten at the Junkyard bar in Rochelle Park. Will and I got married in July '03. We first lived in Bloomingdale, NJ and then lived in Washington, NJ (Warren county). We moved to Goldsboro, North Carolina, in June 2006 and moved into our newly built house in April 2007. We have 2 cats, Poopey and Stinky. I am teaching 5th grade at Northeast Elementary School , and Will is a police officer for the city of Goldsboro.

After graduating VTHS, I attended the University of Rhode Island - where I majored in elementary ...Expand for more
education and psychology. I was also in the sorority Sigma Delta Tau at URI. I graduated from URI in Dec '99.
I also have 39 graduate credits from Montclair State University in the area of Educational Psychology.

I am an elementary school teacher and have taught at the following places:
